Mac OS: To see all hidden files

Type in Terminal (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal)

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

and relaunch the Finder -- Press Option/alt Button and right click on Finder icon in dock. and click Relaunch
